‘Lapakahi’ 8×10 pastel on board

A state park now, once a Hawaiian village.  It had a peaceful feeling, this place. No one was around at first,  just the wind in the shade trees and blowing through the grass, the soft surf boom, and a seal hauled up and snoozing in the little cove where the canoes were brought in. 

Think that’s about it for Hawaii subjects…
